So, now march 2015, turbo blows again! Ours is having issues too and now Mazda stopped making them. There is no way on gods green earth that I will ever buy another mazda or ford since ford owns mazda.
It just clicked and clicked and light flickered. The first compressor went up in May 2013, 2nd just replaced May 2014. Keep these invoices in a safe place, along with oil change and service receipts. I think once they blamed the place who did the oil a month before and they replaced the O2 sensor a few times. This car has never given me problems till a few days ago.
I am interested in any type of action against Mazda, because clearly this is an issue. Yeah, it sounds like it's trying to start: because it does start! Leave the interview, start the car, about fifteen seconds later it dies. This vehicle has been nothing but heartache and trouble for the last three months, and has drained my finances. I had a little voice in my head telling me I should take a peek at Consumer Reports before I bought this piece of crap for my daughter to drive while she is in college. That was the last time I took it to a dealer. Plus the car has recalls that needs to be fix. Poor timing can seem like it is running out of fuel. I did all my own oil changes and will find out tomorrow if Max Care warranty will cover. My car put me down in heavy traffic in a very inconvenient side of town during rush hour on a Friday evening. I had been told from the workers at Brown and Wood that it was because I get my oil change from Walmart!!!! I got all oil changes, however never kept receipts. So now they're doing more in-depth diagnostics and that's where I'm stuck now, again, for another week, without a car. If anyone has any advice id appreciate it. Constant oil changes, replaced timing chain, turbo just went out! See if you can ensure the timing is right.
Not to crazy about having a rebuilt but i figured it cant be any worse than the original one. I will never even consider buying a Mazda again. The accident is certainly relevant. I called Mazda to set up a time to have it addressed. We have not used this dealership for maintenance because of poor service and lack of trust, however, we do keep our car well maintained and do keep the records. If possible find out how to test when the anti-theft is triggered. Went to the dealer they said its not in my warranty but my warranty cover the engine and transmission but just not that part.
Talked with a few other people in the know …. I was getting ready to trade it for a new 6 model but, after this customer service I will never own another and u am going to spead the word as much as possible. Assisting the smooth transfer of power is a six-speed Sport automatic transmission featuring a manual shift mode for a more spirited driving experience. My mechanic just told me that it might be a good time to look at getting rid of it! So, Mazda dealer comes into play. However it got around great im the snow, other then that it was the biggest piece of junk I ever owned. Or do they just get away with this? I will never own a Mazda again.
I only had it serviced once by a professional, and the others were done by me. Even when under warranty, Mazda dealers are asking consumers to present all oil change and service receipts prior to service to confirm they are maintaining the vehicle according to warranty prior to fixing any Mazda turbocharger problem. Monday the upper portion of the engine will be disassembled. That is what they informed me of any way. It smokes bad and I believe the turbo is out again. Needless to say, this experience has left me without a car while legally binded to continue to make almost 500 in payments.
