The Wind 535 is the intermediate step in Tahe's "Wind" line of sea touring models, designed by famous Swedish boat builder and kayaker Johan Wirsen. The stable, low V-shaped hull and flat, Nordic design provides the appearance of a sports kayak, but the length, slenderness of beam and multiple watertight compartments tell a larger story - this boat is built for sea kayaking, too. Larger and smaller members of the "Wind" line are also available from Ship to Shore. This boat is available by special order in carbon-fiber composite, but is in stock at Ship to Shore in fiberglass only. Comes with either a retractable skeg or a foot-actuated rudder.
