At almost 20 feet long, the Wind Viking 585 is the top of Tahe's "Wind" line of sea touring models, designed by famous Swedish boat builder and kayaker Johan Wirsen. Longer and leaner than her smaller cousins, the Wind Viking 585 knifes through open water like her Nordic namesake, the Viking longboat of Scandiavian history. Smaller members of the "Wind" line are also available from Ship to Shore. This boat is available by special order in carbon-fiber composite, but is in stock at Ship to Shore in fiberglass only, with Tahe's custom "W-Line" finish. Comes with a retractable skeg and foot-actuated rudder.
